Mannila Rantakatti, located in Punkaharju, Finland, is part of the 100 year old farm. It’s located next to the biggest lake in Finland, Saimaa. Our peacful place has a cosy characteristic of home. Our three generations of the same family is at your service.

Beach and rowing boats

The beach is suitable for everyone. You can also rent rowing boats if you want to go explore the lake Saimaa.

Sauna

The Finnish tradition sauna will complete your trip to Finland. If you haven’t yet, try it! Saunas can be rented.

Beach volley

What would be nicer than play couple rounds of beach volley with a beautiful view.

Farm animal yard

Nearby is also Hepokatti – a farm animal yard. There younger travellers can go see cows, sheeps, chickens, pony and other animals. See more on their website.

Guided tours

We can arrange different kinds of guided tours if your heart desires to go hiking in the nature of Punkaharju.

Restaurant Rantakatti

The restaurant is in Hotel Rantakatti. Breakfast, dinners and meals for bigger groups are served in Finnish delicious style.

Accommodation for every need

Here in Mannila we have various kinds of accommodation. You can choose between hotel and old tradition cabin. Or if you’re travelling with camper or want to sleep in a tent, it can be done. Or if you really insist, sure you can sleep under the gorgeous apple tree.

Hotel Rantakatti

This hotel is located at lake Saimaa beach, only 10 minute car drive from Punkaharju. The hotel offers local food, versatile activities and a private sauna.

Restaurant Rantakatti is downstairs where local food specialities is served. The summer café Hepokatti is located next to horse stable and there you can have drinks, snacks and small meals. You can also use the grill and smoking oven outside.

At summer we also rent motor boats, rowing boats and fishing equipments. Other activities includes for example beach volley field. Horse riding can be arranged. For relaxing in Finnish style we can rent a sauna on the beach. For children there’s a possibility to visit Mannila’s zoo of farm animals.

Huvimannila

Next to Hotel Rantakatti is located cosy Huvimannila which is right next to the beach. There’s overall 4 two person rooms in Huvimannila. There’s also a small kitchen and bigger space for groups for example to arrange meetings. You can enjoy the nice summer weather while staying terrace attached to the building.

Restaurant services are close. Restaurant Rantakatti is located right next to Huvimannila.

Willa Pihlaja

New and modern building which was built in 2017. There are two floors in the building which both has their own apartments. The apartment on the 1st floor can be divided into two apartments.

Rantakatti Restaurant is located after a short walking distance, so restaurant services are near.

Nearby is also located Kruunupuiston spa, Lusto, the Finnish forest museum and Kesämaa Waterpark.

Caravan and camping

Area is located on the beach right next to Hotel Rantakatti. You can also rent longer reservations at summers.

At the beach is located fire place, kitchen and water point (well) and one shower. Toilets, showers and restaurant services at Hotel Rantakatti are available for caravan customers. Other maintenance building with small kitchen is located near the area.

At tuesdays and saturdays is common times for sauna. Family sauna can be reserved.

Food and drink services can be found at Hotel Rantakatti. The nearest grocery is at Punkaharju centre, about 9 kilometers away.

Niemitupa

Stylish and modern building where you will sure like to stay. There’s two different rooms in Niemitupa. Both are 64 square meters and every room has beds for 2-4 person. Every room has own shower, toilet, kitchen and a TV. The area has also two saunas and one of the room has a fire place. Ten meters from the building is a beach patio on the lake Saimaa. A grill and a rowing boat is also available for residents.

Saimaa Homeboat

You can steer it where ever you want or if you wish – you can stay on the dock in Punkaharju.

The size of the ferry is 48 m2 (517 sq ft) and 27 m2 (290 sq ft) of this area is heated living area. There is a comfy terrace on the roof from where you can watch beautiful scenery in Saimaa Lake. There are also two other terraces: on the front and on the back. There are solar panels on the roof.

Saimaa Homeboat Joutsen has a bedroom, bathroom, sauna, spacious living room / kitchen with big windows and all necessary amenities. The steering control is at the corner of the living room / kitchen. Big sliding doors takes you to the terrace where you can enjoy the clean and fresh air of Saimaa. Theres accommodations for 2+2 persons.

The ferry is very environmentally friendly: it has CE marking and has own tank for wastewater.
