Kujala farm

Kujala farm is located on the largest island of the Pärämere in Hailuodo. On our farm, there are about 100 mother cows that graze in the summer with their calves on the seaside pastures of Hailuoto. There are about 170 young cattle and they live in a warm barn or with their mothers in the yard.

A natural pasture produces both scenic and biodiversity benefits, so its landscape value is high. Natural grazing is always goal-oriented. The aim of the management of areas outside the fields is to increase and preserve biodiversity, landscape management or control of alien species. In addition, grazing produces recreational values ​​and experiences for residents. Targeted treatment also means well-planned treatment, where the goals set for the development of each area are achieved.

Kujala farm sells local food from Hailuoto directly from the farm. Our beef is high quality natural pasture-raised beef, for our cattle graze in the summers In the seaside meadows of Hailuoto. Our farm also produces the country’s famous Lööki sauce.

Adventures

Kujala Outdoor offers nature and experience services all year round in Hailuoto, and these are carried around by the farm’s owner and nature guide Susanna Kujala and other potential parties as needed.

Kieppi experience hut

In our new hut, we combine adventure experiences with local food services from the surrounding area. Book the spacious “Kieppi” for your private celebrations or corporate events. It offers seating for 24 people and holds both serving and retail sales licenses.

The mystery of Hailuoto – An island adventure

A guided adventure trail on the island with maps and tasks. Includes a snack break at the Kieppi experience hut. The event lasts approximately 5 hours in total.

The glide of Hailuoto – A snowshoeing adventure

We offer a guided snowshoeing adventure in the stunning winter landscapes of Hailuoto, tailored to your preferences. The trip can also include a campfire meal or trail snacks with a warm drink. Duration approximately 2.5 hours.

The whisper of Hailuoto – A Performance

A two-woman performance exploring connection, followed by sharing reflections through discussion and writing. Duration approximately 1 hour.

The glow of Hailuoto – A natural cosmetics experience

An herbal tea session and an exploration of the power of nature through plants, featuring local herbal products. Opportunity to purchase products is available. Duration approximately 1 hour.

The enchantment of Hailuoto – An experience moment

An experience moment in the unique surroundings of Hailuoto. The journey begins with a forest meditation walk of approximately 500 meters, designed to help participants tune into the surrounding nature and lower their stress levels by immersing themselves in a peaceful moment. After the unhurried walk, we arrive at the hut, where a gentle 20-minute yoga practice is conducted, focusing on listening to your body. The movements, designed to open and relax the body, are performed in standing positions, so no yoga mat is needed. Following these nature-connection exercises, we gather around the campfire in the hut to enjoy traditional pot coffee or herbal tea with a small snack. Duration approximately 2 hours.

The Wine in the woods of Hailuoto – Wine tasting at the experience Kota

The wine tasting is an exploratory journey into a world where wine meets the forest, set at our Experience hut in Hailuoto. Guided by our sommelier and serving staff, you will embark on a unique culinary adventure surrounded by nature.

The tasting includes three different wines, a delicacy platter, and insights into the art of wine tasting and the stories behind the wines. Duration approximately 1.5 hours.

The Red Cottage

3+2 beds / person, 60 m2 , Pöllätie on the Kujala farm, an atmospheric red cottage: 1 bedroom (1+1 bed), living room with oven (1 bed and 1 sofa bed and kitchen and separate bathroom/shower)

The accommodation price does not include linen or departure cleaning. You can order additional services from us in advance when making a reservation:

Bed linen 15 €/ person, Towels 5 €/person, Final cleaning 120 €,  Pet fee 35 €. The apartment has cleaning tools, materials and instructions.

To start with, you will find toilet paper, hand soap and washing-up liquid in the apartment.
