Located in the heart of Ähtäri, Hyvölä House offers its guests everyday luxury in an excellent location.

Offering a variety of recreational opportunities and friendly service, Hyvölä House is located a 6-minute drive from the center of Ähtäri. Hyvölä Houses offers quality accommodation in rooms, apartments and cottages, including free Wi-Fi and free use of a rowing boat. Ähtäri Animal Park is a 10-minute drive away, and Keskinen Village Shop is a 20-minute drive away.

Hyvölä Houses is a great place to be

Are you organizing a company party or birthday party? In addition to the sauna facilities, Hyvölä Houses offers a great setting for holding parties with even larger groups. The capacity of the main building’s lounge is 40 people, and the hall has an additional 20 seats. In the summer, an outdoor pavilion provides additional space.

If you wish, you can reserve the lakeside smoke sauna, large lakeside sauna and hot tub, which can accommodate even larger groups to spend the evening.

The catering for Hyvölä House parties will be thought out together according to your wishes.

Have a dining experience in the rural landscape of Hyvölä!

We offer group meals all year round for bus groups, family celebrations, birthday guests, corporate clients and Christmas party groups. Capacity in the main building’s lounge 40 people, an additional 20 seats in the hall. In the summer, an outdoor pavilion provides additional space.

All food is prepared on site. Lake fish, organic root vegetables, our own baked goods, the contents change according to the season of the products.

Cottages

Well-equipped holiday cottages in a quiet location, by the lake.

Our cozy log cabins are located in beautiful surroundings, surrounded by nature. The renovated cabins offer their guests a comfortable and relaxing holiday. Some of the cabins also welcome pets.

Holiday Villa Hilla – a high-quality lakeside holiday cottage in Ähtäri.

Log-built Villa Hilla has 120 square metres of internal space and was built in 2018. This villa has three bedrooms, two toilets (one each floor), a fully equipped modern kitchen and a sauna complete with shower and changing room. Villa Hilla accommodates up to 8 people. The comfortable living room holds the lake view which is perhaps at its most impressive as the sun slowly sets over the horizon.

An atmospheric grill cabin and a large terrace equipped with a gas-fired barbeque are both ideal for outdoor cooking. A luxurious hot tub for up to 8 people is next to the terrace and may be accessed directly from the sauna. Even on the very coldest winter evening you can admire the stary sky and enjoy the sound of silence.

You can also have a dip in the lake from your private jetty – even in the winter – if you dare!

Hyvölä Houses is the perfect setting for fishing holidays, as you may rent a motorboat of your choice (with a motor from 4 up to a 50 hp) and fishing equipment or even hire the villa host as a guide in order to help secure the catch.

In wintertime, along with skiing, fishing with nets and ice fishing are popular activities. A likely catch could include zander, pike and perch. Jigging tasty perch is especially popular.

Directly next door to the villa is the great outdoors, perfect for picking mushrooms and berries.

Ähtäri Zoo with its Snow Panda House and 18-hole Ähtäri golf course, with its amazing lake view, are both located close by. The ‘Village shop’ Keskinen is a mere 25 minutes’ drive away.

Villa Juolukka, a well-equipped, spacious holiday home for up to 8 people, located in Ähtäri.

Log-built Villa Juolukka provides a spacious 116 m2 of living accommodation and it was built in 2009. This villa has three bedrooms, two toilets (one on each floor), a fully equipped modern kitchen and a sauna complete with shower and changing room. Villa Juolukka accommodates up to 8 people. It is set within a wonderful, rocky lakeside scenery on the east side of the lake Ouluvesi.

Villa Juolukka has a graywood grill cabin, which has been built right on the side of the lake. The villa has a large terrace area, a hot tub for up to 8 people and a private jetty and beach.

Villa Puolukka – a log cottage on the peaceful east side of Lake Ouluvesi, near Ähtäri town centre.

Log-built Villa Puolukka provides 116 m2 of living space and it was built in 2009. This villa has three bedrooms, accommodating up to 8 people in total, two toilets (one on each floor), and a sauna complete with large shower room and changing room. It is set within wonderful, rocky lakeside scenery on the eastern side of the lake Ouluvesi.

Villa Puolukka has a terrace area equipped with a gas burning barbeque, a rowing boat with life jackets, and for the fisherman, a fish cleaning table near the lake. A log-built grill cabin is ideal for leisurely evening gatherings and barbeque parties.

Villa Puolukka also has a hot tub, which is perfect for relaxing sauna evenings and for a dip in the lake from your private jetty.

Stay in a charming 19th-century mansion.

The main building of Hyvölä Houses offers tastefully decorated rooms that can accommodate one to four people. Some rooms also welcome pets.

Clover – Connected room

Upstairs in the main building, a two-room unit for four adults and four children. One of the extra beds is a metal cot, three are pull-out beds. A good option for a family with small children, as there is a private toilet and shower. Linen is included in the room price (sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase, sauna towel).

Buttercup – Room for four people on the upper floor of the manor

A room for four people on the upper floor in the main building of Hyvölän Talo. There are 2 adult beds in the room, plus a bunk bed. The toilet is located in the hallway next to the room’s front door. Showers are downstairs. Pets are not allowed in the room. Spacious double room on the ground floor of the main building of Hyvölä Houses. Toilet is located in the hallway. Showers are on the next floor. Rose – A room for the whole family

Hyvölä House has a family room on the upper floor of the house for two adults and three children. The room has a double bed, a bunk bed and a baby cot. The toilet is next to the room in the hallway and the shower rooms are downstairs. Pets are also welcome in this accommodation. The room price also includes bed linen (sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase, sauna towel).
