The Sarkkila school house
Koulutintti has a lot to offer. First, we provide accommodation both in an old museum school property and in separate cottages nearby. Second, we gladly host events, for example meetings and parties for maximum of 100 people.
The Sarkkila school was built in 1874 and fully renovated inside in 2000. It is a cozy, homelike place to stay over or host a party or a meeting.
The B&B in the old school house
The old school building now offers accommodation for ten (maximum of 16) people. There are five bedrooms of various sizes and a shared kitchen, living room, sauna and bathrooms.
Koulutintti also offers rental cottages that are situated in Punkalaidun. The Yhivuori cottage is situated in a peaceful spot in the woods and it is suitable for 6 – 8 people. Four of the cottages are situated in the Porttikallio area, which is an ideal place for those who love outdoor activities. There are two cottages for max. 5 people (they are called Uisku and Luisku) and two which are bigger (Muisku and Tuisku).
There is lots to do:
- play golf – even without green card
- play frisbee golf
- go for a walk of jogging in the
- Porttikallio sport center
- ski in a biathlon stadium in winter
- play paint ball in our own destination in the woods
- enjoy afternoon in our own river raft
- pick berries or mushrooms
- take part in a bird watching hikes
